THE EIGHT is one of the few not-profit organizations that provide a holistic, tailored model of service delivery to our beneficiaries and focuses on art to empower and bolster minority youth, mature adults and women’s participation in the market and the civic life of our community.
We recognize that underserved minorities typically face multiple challenges to achieve economic self-sufficiency and civic participation. Since not all needs are “tangible,” efforts at facilitating economic and self-empowerment must be balanced with effective services addressing the many cultural and personal factors affecting success.
In today's economy, we are all "at-risk" and therefore to avoid recycling poverty, we must join forces and think out-the-box in order for us to secure solid solutions to eradicate poverty.
WE-Power is a network of business owners, educators, civic, health and social organizations, spirtual leaders and community. WE-Power is a group of human beings with a huge heart, helping hands and a vital voice for humanity.
THE EIGHT is solely supported by the contributions of individuals, companies and organizations which support our mission.
I invite you to become a WE-Power Partner.nation of time, free and discounted services, in-kind and financial support can contribute to a more positive outlook in our economy and establish holistic milestones to build a solid future for our youth, families and communities.
Respectfully,
Alicia Hollins-Founder
