On September 14, 2008 THE EIGHT, Families On the Frontline, Women in Need Now combined program resources to service over 5,000 individuals and their families with school supplies, baby supplies, clothes and personal hygiene during the 10th Anniversary of KUNA TV Telemondo and 25th Anniversary of La Poderosa 96.7 Celebration and Back To School Event. It was estimated that over 25,000 Coachella Valley residents participated and enjoyed the El Grito Mexican Independance Day Celebration that extended from 11Am-10Pm on a beautiful sunny Sunday .
